My very first Yeti holds more than just my coffee—it holds my heart. Our dad, Dan, made it for me so I could always think of my brother Daniel, when he was busy serving our country as a Navy nuke on a submarine. Now, every time I hold that cup in my hands, I feel our dad with me—strong, steady, and fiercely proud. Even though he’s in heaven now, I hear his voice in the silence: “You weren’t raised to quit. There’s always a way forward. You’re never lost; You just have to find where you are in relation to where you are going”. That Yeti is more than just a drink tumbler—it’s my daily reminder of his grit, our bond, and the strength he left behind for me to carry.
